To continue to provide meaningful information to our stakeholders, ACSA hosted four free webinars in 2021. ACSA webinars are an opportunity to connect experts in workplace health and safety with a multitude of stakeholders simultaneously.
In partnership with WCB-Alberta, ACSA hosted two Advisor Office webinars to share details about their range of no-cost appeal services for employers and for workers. A webinar hosted for employers on Sept. 30, 2021, attracted 1,039 registrants; and the webinar hosted for workers on Nov. 18, 2021, drew 390 registrants.
On Nov. 29, 2021, a webinar hosted jointly with Alberta’s Ministry of Labour and Immigration on OHS legislation changes attracted 788 registrants. A recording of “What you should know about OHS legislation changes: Learn about the key Bill 47 changes coming into effect on Dec. 1, 2021” can be viewed on ACSA’s YouTube channel.
On Dec. 15, 2021, ACSA partnered with WCB-Alberta to deliver the “WCB-Alberta: Changes and trends in the construction industry” webinar. Eight-hundred and ten (810) registrants signed up to hear more about COVID-19 claims, 2022 premium rates and construction industry statistics.
